10 Ways to Get More Followers on Twitter [infographic]

From the very beginning (Nov 2008) my mindset on Twitter has been: I follow everybody. I think it's only polite. (I'm weird that way.)

Twitter is a social media network. Twitter is built around following people ~ and following back. And so I follow, follow and follow some more (and hope for reciprocation). It's the best way to build your "followership" by the way. And that's not a bad thing ~ to want more followers. (Especially if you're a preacher. I'm trying to reach as many as I can with the love of Jesus after all.)

To give you a peek behind the scenes of @aheartforgod and my method of operation, I recently started what I'm referring to as: "a campaign to reach 70,000 followers." As of the initial draft of this post it's 63,255. (Look at the Twitter counter at the top of this blog to see what the number is at currently. Am I moving in the right direction?)

And so we're talking about Twitter and gaining followers. And how we do that I can only speak to out of my experience. In the infographic below I brought together what draws me to follow others and so I'm thinking it's probably pretty close to what draws others to follow me.

I've purposely kept the list short so that you can quickly make changes to your own approach (if you decide to mimic me).

And so in the spirit of growing your audience, here are...

I've been browsing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It's pretty worth enough for me.

In my opinion, if all site owners and bloggers made
good content as you did, the web will be a lot more useful than ever before.
